Auto Boutique 5 Day Exchange Promise
Auto Boutique is known for providing quality preowned vehicles at unbeatable pricing! We want to provide the best experience to all of our guests whether they purchase a vehicle or not. With hundreds of thousands of happy customers, Auto Boutique’s Free Exchange Policy adds even more transparency and comfort when buying your next vehicle. Not the right vehicle? No worries. Auto Boutique allows you to bring your vehicle back to us, and exchange it for another within 5 days or 500 miles of the purchase. Please read the full terms and conditions of the program below. Within the first 5 days or 500 miles from date of purchase (whichever comes first) you, the purchaser, may return an eligible vehicle to Auto Boutique for an exchange of another eligible vehicle if not completely satisfied with the original vehicle. This is an exchange program only – no cash refunds.
Vehicle Inspection: Any vehicle returned under the 5-Day/500-Mile Vehicle Exchange Program will be inspected by the dealer for damage and excessive wear and tear. If non-warranty repairs equal to or greater than $500 have been performed or are necessary as a result of the customer’s use of the vehicle, the vehicle is not eligible to be returned. If less than $500, the damage repair estimate will be deducted from the credit amount.
Original Trade-In Vehicle: If the customer trades in her/his current vehicle as part of the used vehicle purchase transaction, the trade-in instantly becomes inventory of Auto Boutique and will not be exchanged back to the customer.
Valuation of “Trade-In” Vehicle: If the customer trades in her/his current vehicle as part of the used-vehicle purchase transaction, the “Agreed-Upon Trade-in Value” will be used in determining the value to be applied to an equivalent vehicle.
Additional Credit Approval Required: Due to the lender’s approval stipulations, an approval on one vehicle does not guarantee an approval on a different vehicle. If the customer elects to do the exchange, an additional credit approval is required. Approval and terms are subject to the consumer’s credit rating, loan to value ratio, debt to income ratio, vehicle condition, and the structure of the original deal with the lender who approved the original loan. Exchanges can only be done if there is a new approval for the customer.
Exclusions
- Vehicles over 10 years/100,000 miles
- If a customer is unable to be financed on a different vehicle
- Vehicles that have had non-factory aftermarket accessories installed
- Branded titles (e.g., salvage, rebuilt, junk, or flooded history)
*The physical exchange must be completed on, or before 5 days of the purchase date. Notification of the intention of doing an exchange before 5 days does not qualify for the exchange. The vehicle must be exchanged in person within the 5 day/500 mile exchange period.
*Original purchaser must present the vehicle in person to Auto Boutique for exchange within the 5 day period.
*Not transferable must be Original purchaser.
30-day price match guarantee terms & conditions
Price Match Guarantee. If you find your vehicle advertised for less on another website within 30 days of purchase at Auto Boutique, we will credit or refund you the price difference. You must submit the qualifying advertisement to the proper email address within 30 days from the date of your used car purchase. To receive the benefit, you may be required to sign a sales contract that reflects the difference in vehicle price. If you financed the purchase of the used vehicle, the refund may be issued to the lienholder and applied toward your principal loan balance. The email must be sent to our Guest Services department.
Advertisements must be online. Only online advertisements are eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. Verbal, handwritten, newspaper, radio, paper, and mail advertisements will not be accepted.
Geographic limitation. The lower-priced vehicle must be available for sale from a dealer located within a 100-mile radius of the Auto Boutique dealership where you purchased your vehicle.
The purchase must be completed. To be eligible for a Price Match Guarantee claim, you must have completed your vehicle purchase at Auto Boutique, signed all required paperwork, and paid all amounts due at the time of submitting the claim.
Vehicles not eligible. The Price Match Guarantee applies only to used vehicle purchases. The following are not eligible: leased vehicles, new vehicles (used vehicles only qualify), vehicles with a sale price under $10,000, specialty vehicles, and vehicles with over 100,000 miles on the odometer.
Must be “Apples to Apples” Comparison. The Price Match Guarantee applies only to vehicles of the same year, make, model, and trim that contain the same options, packages, and aftermarket equipment. The vehicle’s mileage must be within 2,000 miles of the odometer reading on your purchased vehicle as reflected on your Retail Installment Sales Contract. Vehicles with a history of adverse incidents will not qualify. Disqualifying factors include (but are not limited to) prior accidents, frame damage, branded titles (e.g., salvage, junk, or flood history), rental or commercial use, rideshare or taxi use, lemon-law buybacks, reported theft, or gross-polluter status.
Required documentation. Along with the advertised price, you must submit a signed Buyer’s Order from the competing dealership, completed and signed by an authorized dealer representative. The competing dealership must meet all other qualifying criteria outlined herein.
The vehicle must be offered for sale by a licensed dealer. The lower-priced vehicle must be advertised by a dealer authorized by your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Auto Boutique will reject any advertisement that does not meet this requirement.
Advertisements must be unexpired and valid. Advertisements must be active, and the vehicle must still be available for sale at the time of claim. Expired listings or unavailable vehicles are not eligible.
Verification of Claims. All submissions are subject to verification. Screenshots or other evidence that cannot be independently verified by Auto Boutique will not be accepted. Any advertisement suspected of being fraudulent, deceptive, erroneous, or submitted in bad faith will be rejected at Auto Boutique’s sole discretion.
Changes. The terms in effect on the date of your vehicle purchase will determine your eligibility. Auto Boutique reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue the Price Match Guarantee at any time without prior notice. Failure to enforce any portion of these Terms & Conditions does not waive the right to enforce any other provisions.
Auto Boutique reserves the right to void the 30-Day Price Match Guarantee at any time with written notice before the sale.
